ABOUT THE FILM

Larry, an average man out with his friends, enjoys the convenience of his digital bracelet that automates everything. But in a world where you are only what your bar code says you are, dire consequences await.
Red Tape is set in the future, but it’s a future that we already have one foot firmly planted in. Automation has minimized cash, paper, and human contact. But what price does the digital revolution exact for this convenience?
Red Tape started out as an original script by writer/director David St. Clair. David envisioned a film noir setting, a unique plot and a big score. The team of Joe Rothenberg Animation was brought in to help him bring his vision to life.
David then worked with Kevin Morrison on an original score and Jonathan David on the sound/editing to pull it all together.
